If you have Hyperproof tasks integrated with tasks in another system, such as Jira, Asana, or ServiceNow, you may need to update the connection credentials between the two systems. Typically, you need to update credentials when the owner of the task is deactivated in Hyperproof or the connection is unhealthy for some other reason, which prevents the tasks from synchronizing. See Managing task integration connection health.
Note:
Task connection credentials must be updated individually. If the tasks are being created based on a repeating task, you must also fix that connection. See Changing a connection on a repeating task.
The new connection must already be established in Hyperproof. If the user/connection combination you need is not configured. Create a new integrated task and enter the user's credentials there to establish the connection. Then, update the broken connection.
Once the connection is changed, all activity in the integration app will be assigned to the new person. For example, if a comment is made in the Hyperproof task, it is synchronized to the integration app and listed under the new person's name.
