Changing a connection on a repeating task

Repeating tasks are templates for individual tasks that are created either on a schedule or triggered by an event in Hyperproof. In addition, you can connect a repeating task to other ticketing systems. Hyperproof synchronizes the task information between the two systems. See Integrations.

If the connection to an integration, such as Jira or Asana, is disabled or unhealthy because the organizer of the repeating task is deactivated. Those systems and Hyperproof can't synchronize their comments, nor can proof attached to a task in another system be uploaded to Hyperproof.

To resolve this issue, select a new organizer for the repeating task. That organizer must be a user who has already established a connection to the integrated system, such as Jira or Asana. See Editing a repeating task.

Note: If this is the first time that the new organizer will be associated with an external integration, you will be asked to enter their credentials. You can also ask the organizer to create a single integrated task and enter their credentials there to establish the connection before you update the repeating task.
