Proof visibility for External Auditors with request Manager access

This article provides instructions for how organizational External Auditors can view proof on requests they have Manager access to.

Visibility of proof for External Auditors with request Manager access

If you are looking for information regarding why an External Auditor with Manager audit and request access cannot see proof within a request, this article explains the system behavior and the best practices for user roles.

Request status requirement for proof visibility

If an External Auditor has Manager access to an audit and inherited Manager access to the associated request, they will not be able to see proof in the Proof section of the request unless the request is in a "Submitted to auditor" status. As a request Manager, they can change the status of the request to "Submitted to auditor" themselves to populate the proof on the request.

Recommended role assignments

To ensure seamless visibility and alignment with system design, it is recommended to configure user roles according to organizational best practices.

Follow these guidelines for assigning roles:

  • Make users who have External Auditor organizational roles Auditors on the audit facepile.

  • Make users who have External Auditor organizational roles Auditors on the associated requests' facepiles.
