Questionnaire not visible in a reassessment project

The questionnaire panel appears blank when opening a vendor project. This happens when the questionnaire has not yet been sent to the vendor

Overview

The questionnaire panel appears blank when opening a vendor project. This happens when the questionnaire has not yet been sent to the vendor.


Root cause

No questionnaire has been sent to the vendor. Until the questionnaire is actively dispatched via the "Send to Vendor" action, the questionnaire panel will remain empty, even if the project and workflow are fully configured.


Resolution steps

  1. Open the project:

    Navigate to Projects from the menu and click the relevant project ID to open the project window. The project window is the central hub for managing workflow components, project details, and audit logs.

  2. Click "Share":

    In the project toolbar, click the Share icon

    . This opens the share and distribution panel for the questionnaire.

  3. Review the questions:

    Check that the questions in scope for this project are correct before sending. Questionnaires are organized into sections and questions and both can be reordered or updated at this stage if needed.

  4. Add the vendor's contact details:

    Enter the vendor's name and email address in the recipient fields so they receive the questionnaire invitation and Click "Save".

  5. This will enable the "Invite Vendor" button. Please click on that.

  6. Click "Send to Vendor":

    Confirm and dispatch the questionnaire directly from UI or send it via the email and close this window.

  7. Once sent, click "Next". The questionnaire panel will populate and responses can be tracked or populated from the back-end.
    ​

Tip: If you intend to populate vendor responses directly from the back-end (on behalf of the vendor), you must still complete the "Send to Vendor" step first. The send action initializes the questionnaire record, which is required before any responses can be recorded.

Before sending: Confirm the questionnaire has been fully configured in Settings > Questionnaires. Sections and questions marked "Required" must be completed before the vendor can submit > verify they are set correctly before dispatch.
