A proposed risk can only be evaluated in one assessment at a time. While a proposed risk is being evaluated, its stage is Evaluating, and it can't be added to another assessment. If you selected any risks that are already part of an assessment, a warning displays indicating that those risks will not be added.
To evaluate a proposed risk under a different assessment, first release it from its current evaluation:
From the left menu, select Assessments, then open the assessment that contains the evaluation.
Select the Evaluations tab and open the evaluation for the proposed risk.
Do one of the following:
Set the evaluation status to Closed to cancel the evaluation, or
Archive the evaluation.
Note: If the evaluation uses an approval workflow and has already been submitted, you can't set it to Closed; instead, archive it.
Return to Risk > Intake survey > Risks. The proposed risk's stage is Proposed again.
Mark the checkbox for the risk, click +Add to assessment, select the new assessment, and click Submit. The stage returns to Evaluating under the new assessment.
Notes:
Closing or archiving the evaluation doesn't delete your work. The previous evaluation remains accessible from the original assessment's Evaluations tab in read-only state.
Once the proposed risk has been added to a new assessment, you can't reopen the old closed evaluation for it; the risk is now claimed by the new evaluation message will pop up.
If the evaluation was Approved, the proposed risk was promoted to an actual risk in the selected register — it no longer appears in the intake register and can't be re-evaluated as a proposed risk.
