Release Notes - 2026-JUN-03

Hyperproof release notes

Note: These features, updates, and addressed issues are released first in Hyperproof US and Hyperproof EU on the date noted in the title. They are released in Hyperproof Gov one week later.

Added

Task integrations

Added an option on the task window for integrated tasks that allows you to change task credentials. For example if the user who created a task that is integrated with Jira, Asana, or ServiceNow is deactivated, a manager on the task can modify the credentials used to keep the synchronization running between Hyperproof and the integrated system.

Improved

Programs dashboard

Updated the proof counts on the program summary widget on the programs dashboard to count individual pieces of proof instead of the total number of links to each proof. For example, if you have 6 pieces of proof each linked to 5 different requirements, the proof link count would be 30, but the proof count would be only 6.

Hypersyncs and integrations

New and updated proof types

  • New! Hypersync for GitHub: Repository Rulesets proof - Collects rule sets at the organization level across all repositories.

  • Updated! Hypersync for Google Cloud Platform: IAM: Project Members proof - Added the Resource type and Resource fields, enabled automated control testing, and now supports XLSX format.

    • Resource type displays the following types: Project or Folder, or Organization

    • Resource displays the project name.

  • Updated! Hypersync for SentinelOne: List of Agents proof - Added Agent name, ID, and status fields.

Addressed issues

  • Fixed an issue in Organization Settings where uploading a rectangular organization logo caused layout distortion by scaling on the incorrect dimension instead of preserving the aspect ratio.

  • Fixed an issue in the Risks module where the "Viewer" permission option was missing when adding users to the facepile on the risk details pane, even though it was available in the grid view's member settings. (Case # 00011378)

  • Fixed an issue in the Audit module where sorting the requests grid by the Group column organized records by internal system identifiers rather than alphabetical display names.

  • Fixed an issue in the Labels tab where labels linked to scoped controls failed to display an accurate program count. (Case # 00011736)

  • Fixed an issue in the Controls module where control names and domains failed to flow from parent controls to hierarchical scoped controls during bulk imports or when restoring an archived control scope assignment. (Case # 00011711)

  • Fixed an issue on the Programs Dashboard where the proof link count displayed inflated or inconsistent totals when using hierarchical scopes.(Case # 00011739)

  • Fixed an issue in the Labels module where the Labels tab within a Program window incorrectly reported zero linked labels when scoped controls were associated with those labels. (Case # 00011738)

  • Fixed an issue in the Policies module where policy documents linked via LiveSync became stuck in a perpetual loading state after the policy version transitioned to the Effective stage. (Case # 00011747)

  • Fixed an issue in the Audit module where navigating to the Requests tab of an audit failed to load the active requests list due to an internal timing issue. (Case # 011841)

  • Fixed an issue in the Hypersync for Paylocity where team member termination dates appeared one day earlier than the source application due to regional time zone localization. (Case # 00011870)

  • Fixed an issue in Automated Testing where non-ISO date formats in Microsoft Entra ID proofs caused active records to fail the test evaluation because Hyperproof couldn't parse the dates. (Case # 00011880)

  • Fixed an issue in the Labels module where uploading or linking a proof document directly to a label generated error messages due to duplicate internal database transactions on organizations with hierarchical scopes enabled.(Case # 00011949, 00012047)

  • Fixed an issue in the Controls module where Implementation and Testing status fields couldn't be edited on hierarchical control scopes. The issue occurred when parent controls remained locked after all child scopes were archived. (Case # 00011976)

  • Fixed an issue where a product maintenance banner was erroneously displayed to active users on Hyperproof Gov due to a deployment configuration oversight. (Case # 00011665)

  • Fixed an issue in the Programs module where filtering the Program Dashboard by a scope of "Not set" failed to narrow down control counts accurately in organizations with hierarchical scopes enabled. (Case # 00012026)

  • Fixed an issue in the Tasks module where the status of a multi-step approval workflow failed to automatically refresh and update to the next step once the initial approver completed their review. (Case # 0011501)

  • Fixed an issue in the Audit module where refreshing or reloading the browser page while on the Issues tab caused active issues to temporarily disappear from the view. (Case # 00012033)

  • Fixed an issue in Self-Service Reporting where Snowflake data updates failed with a compilation error in Power BI and Snowsight due to hierarchical scope control records disrupting data model builds. (Case # 00012038)

  • Fixed an issue in the Tasks module where the task detail pane failed to automatically reload permissions or get updated approval records when an approval workflow step progressed on the server. (Case # 00012027)

  • Fixed a user interface rendering issue in the Labels module where previously linked proof documents became hidden from a label's Proof tab when associated control scopes were archived. (Case # 00012071)

  • Fixed an issue in the Jira task integration where access token refresh failures and authentication errors blocked active task synchronization. (Case # 00012076)

  • Fixed an issue in the Hypersync for AWS where configuring the List of Containers proof type in cross-account environments triggered unexpected errors. (Case # 00012078)

  • Fixed an issue in the Programs module where the Scope filter dropdown was entirely omitted from the Controls page within a program for organizations using hierarchical scopes. (Case # 00012082)

  • .. plus other fit and finish, performance, stability, and security issues — as always!
