Crosswalks are topic-based
The Hyperproof crosswalk is pre-generated by Hyperproof experts using high-reasoning AI models (ChatGPT Pro, Gemini Pro, Claude Pro).
The Hyperproof crosswalk dataset is distinct from SCF, but does use the Secure Controls Framework (SCF) methodology.
If two requirements share the same topic, Hyperproof considers them to be related
Hyperproof does not map individual frameworks, e.g., SOC 2 to ISO 27001. Instead, Hyperproof separately maps a framework (e.g., SOC 2) to a set of topics and another framework (e.g., ISO 27001) to the same set of topics. Any requirements that share the same topic are considered to be related.
Can I use previous mappings?
Hyperproof’s crosswalk is automatically updated as our internal experts make changes. This mapping is used by default without our Jumpstart feature. If you would like to use a different mapping, you can customize related requirements by navigating to any requirement and adding or removing related requirements. You can also map your existing controls to a new program directly by downloading your control set from another program, remapping them to the requirements in this new program in Excel/GSheets, and then uploading the template to the new program.
